COVID-19 Update for Herald Ave Dental Centre
Your health remains our highest priority. We are monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely and are proactively taking steps to ensure the safety of our patients.
Our clinic is Accredited to Australian health and safety standards, which means we maintain our surgery to the highest standards of cleanliness.
In addition to this, we have implemented an increase in cleaning of public areas and frequently used items.
Hand sanitizer is available in the waiting room for patients to use.
Patients are asked to use a special mouth rinse prior to dental treatment to reduce the number of germs in the mouth.
Western Australia has been very fortunate in the small number of cases recently. Dental practices have been downgraded to Level 1 Restrictions, which means all dental treatment can resume as normal. However, we are still taking precautions to maintain a clean and safe environment.
To help protect our staff and other patients, we ask that you postpone any dental treatment if you:
- have any cold or flu symptoms
- have been overseas in the last two weeks
- have had contact with a person who has tested positive
The World Health Organisation recommends regular hand washing and to avoid touching your face to help prevent the spread of germs. If you experience any cold or fly symptoms please contact your local GP clinic for advice.
