All of our dentists work and rotate through both our Willetton and Northam practices. This exposes them to a wider range of cases and helps further their knowledge in dentistry.
Our dentists also undertake continuing professional development courses to ensure that they keep up to date with the latest techniques and technology in dentistry.

Our Dentists
Vincent Lim BDSc (Hons)(WA) FICOI
Vincent is the principal dentist at Herald Avenue Dental Centre. He graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2006 with Honours. He is a long term Willetton local, having attended Burrendah primary school and Willetton senior high school.
Vincent enjoys performing all aspects of dentistry, including general, cosmetic and preventative treatments. He has a keen interest in implants and achieved accreditation from the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry in 2008 and is a fellow of the International Congress of Oral implantologists (ICOI)
Vincent is a member of the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He is registered with AHPRA and the National Dental board and is a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA WA) and (ADA Inc).
Vincent has an active interest in keeping up to date with the latest technologies and techniques in dentistry and enjoys attending ongoing continuing education courses to ensure that he is providing patients with the latest and best treatment options available.
In his free time, Vincent enjoys travelling and spending time with his wife and young family.
Dr Martin Lu
Dr Martin Lu was born in Perth, Western Australia and graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Western Australia.
Since graduating he has worked in a variety of different environments including private dental clinics as well as for Dental Health Services (at both adult dental clinics and at dental therapy centres for School Dental Services).
Martin enjoys practicing all aspects of general dentistry with a keen interest in paediatric dentistry, and is committed to providing comprehensive and high quality dental care.
As a kind and empathetic person, he welcomes any questions or concerns his patients may have as he strives to ensure that there is a complete understanding of their dental management at all times. Dr Martin Lu is registered with AHPRA and is a member of the Australian Dental Association.
As well as meeting new people, Martin enjoys playing soccer and playing the piano. He looks forward to your next dental visit!
Dr Su Anne Au
Dr Su Anne Au graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Dental Science with Honours.
She was awarded the Welten Prize for Clinical Dentistry for her excellent performance throughout her undergraduate clinical years.
She is committed to providing a high standard of patient-centred dental care for the community. She is also able to converse in basic Mandarin and Malay.
Su Anne is registered with AHPRA and is a member of the Australian Dental Association. She actively engages herself in various continuing professional seminars and courses.
Outside of dentistry, she enjoys good food and travel and experiencing new tastes, sights and culture.
Dr Agnes Tan
Agnes graduated with Doctor of Dental Medicine from The University of Western Australia.
She enjoys practising all aspects of general dentisty, with a strong emphasis on preventive care. She loves getting to know her patients, and her primary aim is to provide care for patients in a caring and friendly environment.
Agnes is registered with AHPRA and is a member of the Australian Dental Association. She regularly attends continuing professional courses to ensure our patients are provided with the best level of care.
Outside of dentistry, Agnes loves scuba diving, cooking and is a self-confessed bookworm. Agnes is fluent in Indonesian, and is able to converse in Mandarin, Malay, Spanish and Japanese.
Dr Sambavi Kugananthan
Sambavi graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Doctor of Dental Medicine following a degree in a Bachelor of Science with Honours. She has lived locally in the Bull Creek/Willeton area for many years, having attended both Rossmoyne and All Saints’ College during her schooling.
With a kind and gentle nature, Sambavi strives to make your dental visit as pleasant and stress-free as possible. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry however has a particular interest in treating children, geriatric patients and those with special dental needs.
With a commitment to ongoing education, Sambavi is a Member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.
Outside of work, Sambavi loves spending quality time with family and friends, travelling and enjoys a good book at home, at a park or wherever there’s sunshine!
Dr Elaine Ee
Elaine completed her dental degree at the University of Sydney, but calls Perth home, having grown up in its southern suburbs.
After a short time working in Sydney, she moved to regional Western Australia where she got a taste of the idyllic lifestyle.
Elaine enjoys the varied nature of general dentistry, but has particular interest in restorative dentistry. She also enjoyed the opportunity to join an outreach team on the YWAM medical ship based in PNG in 2019. She endeavours to provide a positive experience for all her patients, and regularly attends dental education seminars to keep up to date.
In her spare time she enjoys travelling, playing the piano, and spending time with her family, friends, and pet dog.
Dr Joy Er
Joy qualified with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Western Australia.
Joy finds the most rewarding part of dentistry is the lasting relationships with patients through different stages of life together to establish and maintain a healthy and happy smile. She is committed to create a comfortable and pleasant experience for her patients with a gentle and compassionate approach.
Joy enjoys all aspects of dentistry including paediatrics, preventative, restorative and emergency treatment. She is able to speak basic Mandarin and Malay.
Outside of dentistry, Joy can be found figure skating at the ice rink or playing badminton on court. She also enjoys creative projects such as baking and painting, where her beloved pet dog is often the subject of her artwork.
Dr Prayas Mahapatra
Prayas is a compassionate and eager young dentist. Having obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Western Australia, he is committed and ready to deliver exceptional dental care to all of his patients.
He is particularly passionate about providing his patients with a comfortable dental experience by building relationships with them and being open to any questions they might have.
Prayas is focused on practicing general dentistry but is also looking to expand his repertoire of procedures so he can offer a greater range of treatment options. He considers it a privilege to be able to help people with their dental concerns and as such is always available to answer any inquiries.
Prayas will always take the time in each appointment to explain how he believes a patient’s dental concern can be best addressed and do everything in his power to make sure they feel at ease in his care.
