Irish dentist Darragh Mulrooney has proven that it is never too late to see your dentist for a beautiful smile.

He has transformed Pogue’s singer Shane MacGowan’s infamous ‘fang like’ mouth with 28 new dentures on a titanium frame, all recorded for posterity in an hour long Christmas TV special.
Shane’s natural teeth have always been discussed in the media due to their irregularity and then after his last tooth fell out, he had a set of ill-fitting dentures made.
Encouragement from his girlfriend Vanessa Clarke led him to have the nine-hour dental implant procedure done, even though there was concern that his singing voice would be altered. However, his dental surgeon believes that by returning him a full set of teeth, his tongue will be able to retrain its old movements and let Shane to sing in full glory again.
Shane requested that along with his natural tooth looking implants, one of his front teeth was to be gold, which has given his fans something else to talk about!
